Cake and Candy

Are you good at baking?  Then we need you!!
Any donations for the canteen would be welcome.  The more donations we have, then the less proceeds needs to be spent.
Need some ideas :
Easter themed cake or candy always goes down a treat, filled rolls or other savouries are a must at a dancing comp, pick and mix sweeties - kids are happy. Or perhaps you have another idea.

Raffle

As the dancing will be split into morning (pre-premier) and afternoon (intermediate & premier) we intend to hold two raffles on the day.  We have been fortunate that offers from dancing friends and businesses to donate raffle prizes are beginning to come in.  Anyone interested in donating a prize for the raffle please get in touch donnammitchelson@yahoo.co.uk - your continued support is much appreciated.

Programme Advertisement

As is common at many competitions and championships, a programme will be available to purchase on the day of the event.  Not only will this include information on the days groups and dancers, thanks to trophy sponsors, raffle donations and support on the day - we intend to have space available for advertisements for businesses.  For a limited time only (as we will have limited space in the programme) advertisements are available at a cost of £25 for a half page (A5) in black and white only (all proceeds going to charity).  If anyone is interested then email me on donnammitchelson@yahoo.co.uk.

Trophy Sponsorship

A big thank you to all who have supported the Charity Highland Dancing Festival by either offering to donate a trophy or ordering a trophy through ourselves for the event.  In terms of numbers we now have all the trophies we require allocated to groups (we are awaiting the trophies people are donating themselves - so don't panic if you have offered to donate and haven't got it to me yet - I have included yours in our calculations).  A list of trophy sponsors is on the website and will be mentioned in the programme on the day of the event.  For the trophies we have so far they are looking fantastic.  Not only in terms of quality, but also in size - so the dancers will be very pleased.  I will post a photo once the others have come in so people can see the wide range of trophies.
